Jim Barry, a New Jersey native, and licensed funeral director has been owner and operator of Keplinger Funeral Home since 1985. He has raised three children with his former wife Vickie in this community, Jimmy (wife, Emily) of Shanghai, China, Scotty, of Costa Mesa, California and Frances (husband, Chris) Mays of Hartford City. He also has four grandchildren, Izzy Mays, Reagan Barry, Reed Mays and Addison Barry. Jim enjoys exercising and teaching classes at the local YMCA. He shares his compassion and caring ways at work and in the community, with his endless number of community activities. His contact with the families in the community goes far deeper than the normal relationships of life. Jim goes to whatever lengths are necessary to see that the service at Keplinger Funeral Home is flawless, where our family can be seen helping yours.

Angie Alfrey, lifelong Hartford City resident, has always enjoyed working at Keplinger Funeral Home. She has worked for the funeral home for over 20 years and loves meeting people and helping families feel at home when they require funeral needs. Angie is married to Andy and the proud mother of four children, James (wife, Emily), Katey, Riley and Brandon, and she has an amazing grandson Jackson. She spends her free time cheering them on in their sporting events, spoiling her grandson and working with her kids in the 4-H program, where she is also a Leader. Angie is also licensed to sell pre-need services at the funeral home.
