Obituary for Lyle D. Lambert

Lyle D. Lambert, 60

MONTPELIER – Lyle D. Lambert, 60, passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at his residence.
He was born in Monmouth, IL on July 29, 1959 to Harry L. Lambert and June E. (Knight) Lambert-Patton. Both of his parents preceded him in death.
Lyle graduated from Rowva High School in 1977. He served in the United States Army and retired from AMN Radiology Services as an X-Ray Tech.
He married Dorothy K. (Lucas) Lambert on June 25, 1989.
Lyle was a member of Heartland Bible Church in Hartford City and had moved to the Grant Co. and Blackford Co. area in 2001 from Altona, IL.
He enjoyed camping and traveling with his job and wife.
Lyle will be sadly missed his wife, Dorothy Lambert of Montpelier; children, Joey, Nicholas, Tiffany and Ryan; stepsons, David and Robert (wife, Karla) Paquin; 4 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Harry (wife, Marilyn) Lambert, Dale Lambert, Mary (husband, Gary) Jones, Rod (wife, Carol) Lambert, Carol (husband, Larry) Stegall, Raylene (husband, Scott) Palm, and Ronnie (wife, Tracy) Lambert; sister-in-law, Doris Lambert; several nieces and nephews.
He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Melvin Lambert and Sharon Schisler.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. (Illinois time) Friday, December 20, 2019 at Bethany Baptist Church, 215 N. Olin, Altona, IL 61414.
Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Altona, IL.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2019 at Bethany Baptist Church.
Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City is in charge of arrangements.
