Name: Norma Hawk Date: Apr 02, 1925  -  Jul 02, 2010 Obituary: HARTFORD CITY – Norma Dean Hawk, 85, died at 8:20 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at Millers Merry Manor Nursing Home where she had lived since Sept. of 2009. Norma was born in Hartford City, IN. on April 2, 1925 to the late H. Raymond Monroe and the late Doris Isola (Lucas) Monroe. Norma was a homemaker and a mother and years ago had worked at the Hartford City Packing Co. during canning season. She is survived by 2 sisters, Kathleen Jones of Hartford City and Janet Barker of Gas City; and several Nieces and Nephews one of whom was Carol Ann Farman who Norma had lived with before going into the nursing Home. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sierra Sue Coleman Fear; 5 Sisters, Imogene Vallad, Vern Farman, Betty Treber, Joan Ervin and Judy Ragsdale; One brother. Funeral Services for Norma will be 12 Noon Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 North High St. Hartford City, Indiana 47348 with Rev Bobby Thomas of The Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Dunkirk officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to the service at noon in Keplinger Funeral Home.
