She was born in Monterey, Tennessee, on August 21, 1938 to the late Arthur McCowan and The late Livvie (Bilbrey) McCowan. She married Richard Duane Gibson on Nov. 6, 1965 in Dunkirk, IN. Anna was a homemaker, wife, Mother and Grandmother. She had moved to Blackford Co. in 1977 from Dunkirk, IN. Anna was a member of the North Delaware Baptist Church in Muncie. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was an outdoors person. She will be sadly missed be her husband of 44 Years, Richard Duane Gibson; 3 sons, Mike F. (Wife – Carolyn) Buckner of Hartford City, Randy W. Buckner (companion – Paula Hatton) of Hartford City and Marvin L. (Wife – Laura) Buckner of Upland, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Chris Duncan of Muncie and Jeri (Husband – Glenn) Ingrahm of Muncie; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Buckner, one grandchild and sister, Ina M. Blanch. Funeral Services for Anna will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 North High St. Hartford City, IN. 47348. Burial will follow at Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville, IN. Visitation for Anna will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Keplinger Funeral Home and two hours before the service on Thursday.
