He was born on April 6, 1948 in Indianapolis to Robert Lee Bowman and Martha Louise (Krause) Winters. His father precedes him in death in 1996. Larry graduated from North Central High School in 1966. He married Linda Darlene (Hall) Bowman on September 6, 1974 in Good Shepard Chapel in Indianapolis. Larry attended Glad Tidings Church. He enjoyed 1950 cars, race cars, liked the Cincinnati Reds and was a Colts fan. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Linda Darlene Bowman of Chesterfield; mother, Martha Louise Winters of Indianapolis; sons, Brent Lee Bowman of Mt. Dora, Florida; Chad William Bowman of Indianapolis; daughter, Melinda Kay (husband, Jeramay) Ragan of Avon; grandchildren, Hyler Kathleen Bowman and Emma Olivia Regan; sisters, Dianne (husband, Alvin) Hause of Noblesville; Joyce K. (husband, Steve) Roller of Orlando, Florida; Kathy (husband, Mark) Cheatum of Indianapolis; brother Dennis Ray (wife, Karan) Bowman of Mt. Dora, Florida; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2010 at First Assembly of God Church 1206 South Monroe St., Hartford City. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2010 at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Kevin Hoyt officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
